Vacation Pay
Download First Choice LBMP BrochureFirst Choice Employees are eligible for 5 days paid vacation annually. Employees must work a minimum of 1900 hours and 1 full year. Vacation pay is paid annually. Vacation pay will be calculated using average weekly hours and pay for previous 8 weeks worked. First Choice employees are responsible for making arrangements for time off (if necessary) with worksite supervisors. Time off is at the discretion of the work site supervisor. It is the employee's responsibility to request and substantiate hours within 90 days of anniversary date.

Holiday Pay
First Choice Employees who have worked 1800 hours in a 12-month period are eligible for Holiday pay for the following Holidays, when the holiday falls on a regularly scheduled work day:

  • New Years Day
  • Memorial Day
  • 4th of July
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day

Holiday Pay is calculated using average hours and pay rates. Employees must be currently working and work the scheduled day before and after any holiday.

Referral Bonus Program
Any First Choice Staffing employee, who refers a new employee to First Choice, will be eligible for a bonus of $25.00 after the referred employee works 40 hours. There is no limit to the number of referrals an employee can earn. The referred employee must tell us when they register who referred them, and the referring employee must request the bonus after the referred employee works 40 hours. There is no bonus due if the referring employee is not working for First Choice Staffing.

401K Plan
Employees are eligible for the 401K plan after working 1 full year and a minimum of 1000 hours. Enrollments are accepted on July 1st and January 1st of each year. The 401k plan allows a participant to save through salary deferral on a pre-tax basis.

Health Insurance
First Choice offers HM Care Advantage, a limited benefit medical plan created to help meet basic Health insurance needs. Employees are eligible for the insurance plans after 30 calendar days of employment. Payroll deductions are made on a pre-tax basis.

*Verification of hours worked is done using payroll records, only regular hours are considered for the purpose of calculating eligibility. All time verification and payment of fringe benefits is at the discretion of First Choice Staffing Management.
